A sophisticated dinner party

This evening we had a dinner party. Well, I made dinner and we ate it. Not particularly fancy.Being fancy, I made spanikopita, which is a very tasty Greek concoction of spinach, ricotta and feta, all nicely parcelled in filo pastry. It’s super nice, and looks impressive, even though it’s quite simple to make.

We also had assorted side dishes, including this self-assembly Caesar salad, provided by the wonderful miss Eleanor.

No meal is complete without pudding, and we had a very cream-heavy Eton Mess. A lot of lying down was required after this meal.

Even tiny cat wanted to join in with our festivities.

Although she was a little shy.

And of course, no gathering is complete without whimsy’s knitting.
